We understand that your privacy is important and we are strongly committed to protecting it and the Personal Data or information that you may provide when you access and use the content we own or operate on the websites located at www.miningrid.com or any other websites, app, pages, features, or content we own or operate (hereafter: the “Site(s)”) and/or when you use our mobile application and related services (referred to collectively hereinafter as “Services”).
In addition, information that you may submit to Mining Grid in response to an email request for information or other outreach from Mining Grid, or through any Mining Grid application processes, will also be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
In this written Privacy Policy, Mining Grid describes the use of your Personal Data by Mining Grid and the scope and breadth of our commitment to privacy. We undertake to ensure that your Personal Data is handled responsibly and in compliance with the legal requirement of the UAE’s Data Protection Law. Furthermore, we ensure compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679.
By exploring and using Mining Grid’s Site and/or Services, and by submitting information to Mining Grid, you signify acceptance to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

When we require certain personal data from users it is because we are required by law to collect this data (anti-fraud / anti-money laundering / counter financing of terrorism / know your customer obligations) or it is relevant for specified purposes. You are free to choose whether to provide us with the types of Personal Data requested, but we may not be able to serve you as effectively or offer you all of our Services when you do choose not to share certain information with us. However, we shall strive to provide you with the best possible Services always.

- Formal Identification Information: Tax ID number, passport number, driver’s license details, national identity card details, photograph identification cards, and/or resident permit (visa) information.
- Financial Information: Bank account information, payment card primary account number (PAN), credit/debit card details, transaction history, trading data, and/or tax identification.

Indeed, ID verification partners use a combination of government records and publicly available information about you to verify your identity. Such information includes your name, address, job position, public employment profile, credit history, status on any sanctions lists maintained by public authorities, and other relevant data. We obtain such information to comply with our legal obligations, such as anti-money laundering laws.
In some cases, we may process additional data about you to ensure our Services are not used fraudulently or for other illicit activities. In such instances, processing is necessary for us to continue to perform our contract with you and others.
2.3 Data Collection When Visiting Our Website
When visiting our website, we store every instance of access in a log file and therefore, the following Data are stored in this process:

- Website from which our domain is accessed and website usage information;
- Operating system of your computer;
- Country from which our website is accessed;
- Name of your Internet provider;

3.2 To Enforce Our Terms in Our User Agreement and Other Agreements
We handle sensitive information, such as your identification and financial data, so it is very important for us and our customers that we are actively monitoring, investigating, preventing, and mitigating any potentially prohibited or illegal activities, enforcing our agreements with third parties, and/or violations of our posted user agreement or agreement for other Services. Information we share with and receive from service providers includes, but is not limited to, your name, email address, address, phone number, geolocation data, employment information, demographic information, electronic network activity information, account information, financial information, credit card or other payment information, background check information, hosting application information, information contained in any lease or purchase agreement you are negotiating or entering into and related transaction information, photo identification, reference letters, bank statements, GCI, income tax returns, or address of a hosting you intend to have, other information we request from you that is required by law, or any other information you provide to us or our service provider.
When we share your data with our service provider, we ensure that they adhere to the same high standards of privacy and security that we maintain.
3.4 To Provide Service Communications
We send administrative or account-related information to you to keep you updated about our Services, inform you of relevant security issues or updates, or provide other transaction-related information. If you authorize one or more third-party applications to access your Mining Grid Account, then the information you have provided to Mining Grid may be shared with those third parties. We store and process your Personal Data in data centers around the world, wherever we have our premises or service providers are located.

8.1 Personal Data
Mining Grid will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.
Mining Grid will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your Data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
Therefore, and in accordance with our record-keeping obligations, we will retain the Account and other Personal Data for at least five years (and some up to ten years, as required by applicable law) after an Account is closed.
